Out-of-state applicants can also apply to UCC School of Medicine, but it is important to note that 92.2% of last year's enrolled students were Puerto Rico residents. State-funded medical schools, like UCC School of Medicine, give priority to residential applicants. Out-of-state students who have excellent grades and experience, or who have contributed greatly to Puerto Rico state, have a chance of being accepted.
