Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
In United States, there are 36 veterinary medicine schools offering Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree accredited by American Association of Veterinary Medical Colleges (AAVMC).
To apply to veterinary medicine schools to earn Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), the applicants are required to use the Veterinary Medical College Application Service (VMCAS) for most schools, except 2 schools (Texas A&M and Texas Tech). During the application process the applicants will submit the required components including transcripts, letters of recommendation, veterinary experience. Many schools no longer require the GRE score for 2025 admission, but check school's admission page for the GRE requirement.

- Veterinary experience with a variety of species required / recommended
